Greetings from the Editor’s desk!
We are now into the fourth issue of the RMC Global Journal. This issue features some of the pioneering articles about scientific studies, feedback, rare case reports, and review articles.
‘Data is not always in numbers’ is a statement familiar to those conducting qualitative research. Today, research involving mixed-method studies combining the qualitative and quantitative methods is widely accepted as an apt approach in social sciences, humanities, and public health. A full-length article on common pitfalls and mitigation strategies to improve the methodological rigor of qual-quant studies finds a place in this issue.
The researcher in the article on inappropriate antibiotic use draws attention to the growing threat of antimicrobial resistance and addresses a socially relevant issue. Articles on new biochemical markers for assessment of severity in coronary artery disease and retrospective studies on COVID-19 patients are also incorporated in this issue. News regarding the Dictionary of Forensic Medicine, the role of proper checks on plagiarism, and the usage of AI tools while writing academic articles are some more interesting articles.
